Spiced Plum Chutney

Ingredients

  • 7 large plums (I used red plums but you can use any variety)
  • 1 teaspoon crushed fresh ginger
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon green chili chopped
  • 3 tablespoons coconut sugar
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 3 cloves
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Cut your plums into quarters

2. Add all ingredients into a cooking pot and place on the stove to cook on medium to low heat. Cook for about 20-30 minutes till the plums have almost dissolved and become a jammy mixture. So 10 minutes in, it may look watery but you will slowly see it all come together and become jammy and thick. Stir often to make sure the mixture doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan.

3. Remove from heat and let the chutney cool. Then store in an airtight jar in the fridge for a week.

4. Sprinkle some joy, Say a prayer of gratitude and serve with extreme love!
