Ingredients
- 2 cups old fashion oats
- 1⁄4 cup chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 3 cups almond milk
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2-3 tablespoons maple syrup (or to taste)
Instructions
1. Add oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, and turmeric into a bowl. Gently mix with a spoon or your hands so all the ingredients are evenly distributed. Add the milk, vanilla extract and maple syrup and stir.
2. Place the mixture in a closed container or jar and store in the refrigerator overnight (for a minimum of 6 hours and a maximum of 5 days).
3. The next morning the mix will feel a little thick so add extra milk and stir. Add more if you want it a little more runny. Serve with fruits, coconut shavings, goji berries, almonds, pumpkin seeds, or favorite toppings.
