Description

Berry compote is so good to just have as a weekly staple in your fridge. It can be added to your overnight oats, yoghurt parfait, or waffles/pancakes. It can even be used as homemade jam on toast with almond butter!! Yummmmm!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Roughly chop strawberries and place all ingredients  in a medium saucepan, combine your fruit of choice, sweetener of choice and dash of salt.

  2. Bring the mixture to boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. This will take about 20 mins till the fruit breaks down.

  3. Remove from heat and transfer to a clean jar or container to cool thoroughly, mixture will thicken as it cools.

  4. Store in the fridge for up to 7 days.

  5. ♡Say a little prayer, do a little dance, sprinkle a little love, and serve with happiness ❤️

Note

Substitutions: you can use frozen berries if you don’t have fresh
