Sweet Potato Black-Eyed Pea Curry

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Add oil to a pan with cumin seeds, asafetida, Serrano pepper and ginger sauce for 2 minutes then add in cabbage, sweet potatoes and salt

  2. Drain black-eyed peas & add to pan

  3. Pour in crushed tomatoes, coconut milk, & curry powder

  4. Mix all together, cover, and cook for 20 minutes or till sweet potatoes are soft (but not mushy) 

  5. Garnish with yogurt, pickled chillies , & chopped cilantro 

  6. Enjoy with grilled pita or on top with rice

  7. ♡ Say a prayer of gratitude, serve with love, and eat with joy ❤️
