Instructions

  1. If you are using store bought dough take the dough out of the fridge for at least an hour before use
  2. Preheat your oven to 400F for at least 30-40 minutes before
  3. Mix together the rest of the ingredients for the butter glaze
  4. Make the filling by mixing the ingredients into a bowl and mash up the jalapeños. If you have shreds, leave the cheese out for a bit and it should get soft enough to press it into a ball! - but this may differ depending on the cheese used!)
  5. When making the dough balls i used 40g portions of the dough and about 1 tsp of the mixture inside.
  6. For the filling create balls and place into the freezer ( this makes it far easier when wrapping the dough around)
  7. Take the dough and flatten it into a little circle on your palm and place your cheese ball into the middle, wrap the dough around the cheeseball and seal it pinching the dough together. Roll into a round smooth ball
  8. Place dough balls onto a greased cast iron skillet or baking dish of choice
  9. Keep them snug together if you want them to have that pull apart family style feel.
  10. Brush on the buttery glaze generously - leave a tbsp or so to pour on after it comes out the oven
  11. Place on the middle shelf of your oven and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown
  12. When its done, take out of the oven and pour on the extra buttery goodness!!
  13. I strongly recommend eating hot out the oven and it can be served with a little marinara sauce on the side BUT i don't feel its necessary at all!
  14. ♡ sprinkle with love, Say a prayer of deep gratitude for every person and thing that has allowed for this dish to arrive at your table and eat with joy!!!
