Description

According to Ayurveda, spelt flour is easier to digest than wheat flour. Some people who are often intolerant to wheat find they are able to tolerate spelt flour and so is a great alternative to wheat..it also has a slightly earthier taste which I kinda dig!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Add the spelt flour in a big mixing bowl, add the salt and mix. Slowly add the water little by little until you can form a smooth dough. You might not even need all of the water given in the ingredients.

  2. Kneed for a couple of minutes with your hands.

  3. Let the dough rest in the bowl covered by a clean kitchen towel for about 15 minutes.

  4. Divide the dough in two equally large parts and roll them out with a rolling pin on a floured surface.

  5. Heat a flat pan on medium to high heat.

  6. Place one roti after another in the pan and let it cook for about 1/2 minute on each side, ideally they should puff up..thats when you know you've made the perfect roti!!

  7. ♡ Say a little prayer, sprinkle a little love & serve with joy ❤️
