Description

SO Ekadasi is a grain free fast that takes place every fortnight in the vedic calendar. Its a day to reset and focus on a little spiritual growth! People always ask me what fasting has to do with spiritual practice. Actually its quite a beautiful principle. Its simplifying and purifying for you body, By simplifying your diet ideally eating simply and without grains, grains are heavy to digest and the by simplifying our diet, we are creating more space and time for spiritual practices in the day, a little extra time to do them instead of focussing on food. Simplifying our externals to hopefully simplify our internal intentions and focus! SO here is a grain free recipe i often make on this day..you can get ekadasi (or as us gujjus call it, farali flour in indian stores).
